So Nick is going to be kept busy the next couple of months working for a friend from church. He is building a new house and needed some help. Right now, Nick is working on putting in somewhere around 1500 fence posts!!! So it will be a lot of work but I'm glad that Nick gets to do it! It will help out a ton to have him working too. We feel very blessed! It will be such a relief to get back on our feet!

Yay for Nick and Yay for you! I'm so glad things are working out. I know exactly how stressful it can be to look for a new job. Congratulations!
YAY! I've come to realize over the last oh 7 months that the Lord truly takes care of those who truly want to do what's right... doesn't mean there won't be moments when He makes us sweat, but He will always help us.
Oh WOW. I just found your blog through Cindy's, and read what happened with your guys' jobs.
!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so stunned. I couldn't believe that BOTH of you lost your jobs ON THE SAME DAY?!?! But your outlook and faith on turning the situation around and finding the silver lining was such an inspiration to me.
You are an amazing woman!
And I'm SO relieved to hear that you were able to find work so quickly. Phew!!! You guys deserve the blessings.
I hope things continue to look up for you two.
p.s. I'm sure that you will love working as a CNA. I worked as a CNA for a couple years and I really enjoyed the older adults. You can learn a lot from them and I thought it was a blessing to take care of them.
That said, that business comes with its challenges, for sure. It can be pretty labor intensive and the "politics" of working in the medical field on top of working in a retirement facility can be stressful at times.
But with your optimism and sweet nature, I'm sure you'll love it. And I am certain that the residents are going to LOVE you to pieces! You will be a breath of fresh air for them every day!!
dang that last comment was long winded! ;-)
