New Bed

Nick and I built a new bed a couple of weeks ago and well it is amazing! I think that we did a really good job! I can't say that it was easy or that it was whole lot of fun doing a big project together but it was very rewarding! Here are some pictures!
First you have to cut

And then stain

Then put it together

And Last but not least you have to make it!

This Picture is taken at our new house (that blog will come later) so please excuse the mess! We just moved in!

Living the Bachelorette Life

Nick left the second week in June for his internship with Absher Construction. He is working on what they call the High Point Project in West Seattle. We went to see where he would be working about a week before he left and let me tell you it is beautiful there! Nick is really enjoying what he is doing but I am pretty lonely here by myself but at least I get to see him on the weekends. I don't know how army wife's do it, I'm having a hard time and I know exactly where Nick is and I know that he is safe and protected and I get to see him every weekend. I must say that I feel very blessed. One thing I have found that helps me is to think about the week in days and what I'm doing that day. Now that he has been gone over a month I must say that it gets a little easier having him gone everyday!
Here are some pictures of where Nick is working. I hope you like them!

I loved all of the colors of the place. They were so pretty!

Check out that view! I love that you look one way and Mt. Rainier is right there and then you look the other way and you are looking over Puget Sound and the Seattle skyline. Its pretty cool.

I love and I miss you Nick!

Memorial Day 2008

This year for Memorial Day weekend we spent the weekend with Nick's family. On Monday we went to Ocean Shores for the day. It was about 70 degrees it was overcast but we still played in the ocean and had a great day! Here are some pictures from Memorial Day.

We stopped at Wal-Mart on our way to the Ocean and bought boogie boards which made our ocean day that much more fun!

Nick and Taylor were so cute together that day. It was so fun to see Nick being a big brother. Nick doesn't get to spend a lot of time with Taylor and so when he does it is so cute to see them interact. Nick made sure to keep a close eye on him as he went boogie boarding to make sure he was safe, it was just very cute!

All and all it was a great day at the beach! Next time we go I hope the weather is a little bit warmer!

So I know what I said I was going to try to post something once a week, well maybe I'll try once a month since once a week isn't exactly working out!
