Makenna LOVES princesses so I thought why not have a princess party? We asked all of the guests (kids) to wear princess or prince attire and we had a royal affair. As you might have guessed from the previous post, Cinderella is Makenna's favorite princess so she wore her new dress and if you ask me, she made a beautiful Cinderella.
To make the day extra special, Makenna got her first updo, and she wore a pretty tiara.
When our party guests arrived, they decorated their own tiaras for the girls and crowns for the boys. Thank you pinterest for the idea!
Mailey even got a crown too!
We had more than one Cinderella at our party. Here is Ally in her duds showing off her tiara.
Princess Aurora, also known as Libby.
Instead of wearing one or the other, Makenna wore both crowns.
Princess Avery.
The girls played for a while before lunch. They all looked so pretty in their princess dresses!
While the girls played the boys went off and did their own thing. Jared and Casen were such troopers with everything. This party wasn't exactly a boy friendly.
After everyone decorated their tiaras and played a very special visitor arrived to get the party started!
CINDERELLA!!!
AKA Tami. Tami has been one of my best friends since we were little tiny girls. She has taken on an Auntie role with my girls and was more than willing to dress as Cinderella for Makenna's party. The dress she is wearing she actually wore to our junior Prom 11 years ago. I was so impressed it still fit! The little girls were so excited that a princess came to the party. Tami did such a good job playing the part too! Makenna actually didn't realize Tami was Cinderella until Scott (Tami's boyfriend) arrived at the end of the party. It was really cute watching her reaction when she figured it out.

Lunch time! We had pinwhells, puff pastry sandwiches, pigs in a blanket, fruit kabobs, rice crispy pops, veggies and meatballs.
Tea party with Cinderella!
Kenna was so funny talking to "Cinderella" She told her "I like your crown, you like mine too?"
Nom nom nom!
We played a game that we sadly didn't get any pictures of and then we had picture time with Cinderella!

Present time!
Time for Cake. The cupcake cake is supposed to be shaped like a tiara... hmm. I'm not really sure it does but I didn't really care too much. It tasted great, and I didn't have to bake or decorate it myself so it's all good!
Delicious!
Pining for a cupcake... soon my baby, very soon and you will get to have your own!
She now has 3 crowns on. Funny girl!
Practicing the princess wave!
Thank you so much Tami for dressing up as Cinderella for Makenna's party! You made the day for several little princesses in training!
Right before the last guests walked out the door Makenna sat still for two seconds and fell asleep. It's a rough life being the birthday princess!
The party turned out great and the kids seemed to really have a great time. It was a royal affair indeed! Thank you so much to Nick, my mom, Dad, Larry, Sherrie, Mitch, Garrett, Tami and Alice for all of your help making Makenna's party a success! I couldn't have done it without you!
