Nick's Car Wreck :o(

It is official to say that Nick had a really crappy day! At work today one of his co-workers got laid off and then on his way home on I-90 right before Issaquah he was rear ended. It wasn't his fault which is good, the guy who hit him just didn't pay attention when Nick had to slow down. Luckily he is fine, he is just soar, there are so many things that could have made this much worse. After almost 3 hours of getting a tow, police report and a rental car Nick was able to drive himself home. I took him to the ER just in case when he got home and they gave him some pain meds and a muscle relaxant so hopefully those will help. We won't know what will happen with our car until Monday, we are just hoping it isn't totalled. I'll keep you posted.

Nick said the right side of the car is really bad, you can't open the back passenger door at all. I will just take his word for it because I haven't seen it. Hopefully everything will be fixable. One good thing is you can replace cars but you can't replace people. We are very blessed.

Busy Day

Yesterday seemed like such a busy day, it seemed like we just went from one place to another. We also got a new camera so we of course had to try it out!

We first went to the Central Vs. Humbodt State football game. CWU won 48-10! After the game we went out to my Aunt Connie's house for a family get together. My aunt Cami lives in Boise and came to visit for the weekend. After the get together we went back to our house and our good friends Scott and Brittany came over. The boys played rock band and Brittany and I talked. I unfortunately didn't get any pictures but we had a lot of fun! Just thought I would let y'all know what we have been up to.

Sara Evans and Josh Gracin Concert

Last night Nick and I got to go to the Sara Evan's and Josh Gracin concert at the Puyallup fair. It was AWESOME! We had so much fun! I always forget how much I enjoy going to concerts until I am there again. I love the music but the excitement and energy of the crowd is what always seems to really make the concert fun. This is right after he literally was right behind us singing and making his way through the crowd. I was such a star struck freakin spaz that I just stood there frozen and then thought maybe I should find my camera and well, he wasn't right next to us anymore by the time I took the picture. Oh well!

This is my favorite song by him, I got just a clip from the chorus, it was taken from my camera so its not good quality in sound or picture but enjoy "We Weren't Crazy."

Ladies and Gentleman: Sara Evans

She is really as beautiful in person as she is in pictures and her videos.

I would have to say that this was my favorite part of her concert. Her sisters Ashley (Left) and Leslie (right) are her harmony singers and they sang a couple of songs acapella in 3 part harmony, one of songs was their version of Dolly Parton's "Jolene" It was amazing!

WE LOVED THE CONCERT! Poor Nick! He was so tired! I felt so bad that he had to get up and go to work today! He has to be to work at 7 and he has an hour commute, with showering and breakfast that makes for one EARLY morning. Thank you Nick for being such a trooper! By the way Nick is not a huge country music fan and well, he had a TON of fun so maybe I turned him over to the dark side. :o)

This is myself and my very best girl friend Tami. Her and her boyfriend Bryan recently moved to Puyallup together, Bryan in January and Tami in June, So I have been trying to take every opportunity that I have when I am over in the Tacoma/Puyallup area to see her and Bryan. Today, Tami and I went and got food to go from this really yummy resturant call the Ram and ate with Bryan at his work so I could see him too. After lunch we did a little bit of window shopping. It was so nice to see them and catch up!

We will just say that this was a great start to what we hope will be a nice and relaxing weekend!

Puyallup Fair and Rodeo

Last night Nick, my brother Mitch and I went to the Puyallup fair and rodeo. Every year Nick's work does a drawing for the events at the Puyallup fair. Nick won tickets to the rodeo and to see Sara Evans and Josh Gracin, the concert will be on Thursday and I am super excited! Here are some pictures from last night.

Ours favorite event as always.... BULL RIDING! YeeeHaaw! Let me tell ya, those bull fighters were life savers more than once last night!

Here is the clown of the year Mr. Keith Isley. He is so freakin histerical. He is usually here at the Ellensburg Rodeo too. Thanks to Absher Construction Co. we were fortuate enough to have front row seats. Several times he came and stood on the landing in front of us telling his jokes and stealing peoples food... hense the popcorn. Once he used Nick's head to help him get up on this tiny bar that seperates the boxes and twice he steped on Mitchell. Haha!

After the Rodeo there was a concert featuring American Idol's Bucky Covington. He was pretty good but we didn't stay very long into his concert. We didn't really know any of his songs or anything so we weren't really feeling it.

Here is Bucky. I'm sorry but who would name their poor child Bucky? That is so mean!

Here we are! Nick has a scone in his mouth and instead of asking us to wait just a minute he thought we would let me take the picture, with his chipmunk cheaks full of fair scone! Haha!
